Lab Tech Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $18.90 /hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- Various shifts available (Monday through Sunday from 06:00am to 06:00pm)
- Ensure lab equipment is maintained, calibrated, and repaired as necessary. Safely using a variety of hand and power tools in doing so.
- Perform quality control testing on cement slurries, and additives to ensure they maintain specific properties for optimal downhole well integrity.
- area clean and organized (sweep, mop, dusting, trash-out, etc.)
- Collect samples of chemical additives from the warehouse for pilot testing- Wear full PPE as required by the task (coveralls, dust mask, safety glasses, chemical gloves, steel toes, hard hat)
Lab Tech Qualifications:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent who are willing and eager to learn a specialized set of skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Switching between day shift (5am to 5pm) and night shift (5pm to 5am).
- Have a solid attention to detail, and unwavering ability to follow procedures
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
